Slums Life - Ghana 2019-2020
Only in capital of Ghana, Accra, thousands of people lives in slums. There is a few huge underprivileged communities with dozens of thousands of people, Agbogbloshie with E-waste dump are very well known of high level of crimes like , full of homeless people include hundreds of unaccompanied minors looking for any job to survive.
Historic part of the city, Jamestown and fisherman village is located next to Agbogbloshie and it's also one of the poorest neighbourhood in the capital, without water and sewage system with high number of unemployed people.
At the suburb of Accra, in Darkuman district is the biggest fixing cars place in the city with hundreds of people fixing and building cars from scrap, and with dozens of small plastic recycling factories. People working hard here for 8-9 hours every day for only 10 GHC a day (around 1.30£). It's also one of the poorest slum in capital, inhabited by thousands of people from different parts of country, migrated here to find any job. That place was found in 80's by "Cash", family member of the current Ghana president, he is Godfather of slum and well respected by the community.
